Labor Support

JoAnna is a trained Labor Doula, providing physical and emotional support throughout the labor and birth process, as well as the immediate postpartum period. Doula support during childbirth can result in:

• a decreased use of pain relief medication during labor

• a decrease in the length of labor

• a decreased risk of vacuum or forcep assisted births and cesarean births

• a decrease in risk of a negative childbirth experience
